Imari porcelain chocolate bowl and saucer Japan, Edo Period, circa 1700-20

They are each of circular form and are decorated with floral and foliate sprays in underglaze blue with overglaze red and gilt highlights. The saucer bears an exhibition label 'No.73/94, 5/4/81, On loan from J.R. Findlay Esq.'

Dimensions

Bowl: 8cm wide, 7cm high. Saucer: 14cm wide

Condition

There are some minor marks, scratches and rubbing to the glaze and decoration of both pieces. Otherwise they are in good condition.
