The container is of cylindrical form. The cover when opened reveals two circular trays which lift out. The box is decorated with circular cartouches filled with animals, birds and plants on a diaper background.
21cm diameter, 19.5cm high
There are some cracks to the top, sides and interior. Otherwise it is in good condition.
The diaper pattern may have been influenced by the design of Scottish textiles which were being imported into Burma in the 19th century.
