The cup is of circular form with a wide shallow bowl and lip, raised on a short foot. The central design in gold hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and kirigane is of an open chrysanthemum flower. The design continues on to the reverse with the petals and stem of the flower displayed.
12cm wide, 3.8cm high
There are some minor marks and rubbing to the lacquer otherwise it is in good condition.
