The cup is of circular form with a wide shallow bowl and lip, raised on a short foot. The central design in gold hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and kirigane is of an open flower. The design continues on to the reverse with the petals and stem of the flower displayed.
10cm wide, 3cm high
There are nicks and small losses of lacquer to the rim and well. There are some marks, scratches and rubbing to the lacquer otherwise it is in structurally good condition.
