The dish is of circular form with a central design of a peony amidst other floral sprays. The cavetto split into six Kraak style panels of peaches surrounded by a floral rim. There is a spurious six-character Chenghua mark to the base.
36cm diameter
There are two hairline cracks to the rim, which have been reinforced by a restorer. There are some small chips to the rim that have been filled. There is some rim fritting. Otherwise the dish has some rubbing to the enamels, but is overall in good condition.
The peony and the peach together are symbols of wealth and rank with long life.
