The flask is of circular form with an inlaid silver shou motif to the centre, surrounded by foliate motifs, brass mounts and a leather strap.

Overall corrosion, marks and scratches which are consistent with age and use. Leather is dry. There are two old lead soldered repairs to the neck, each 1cm wide. There is another old lead soldered repair to the body, 1.5cm wide and there is a small hole beside it, 0.3cm wide.
