Constructed in the Ming style with carved panels.
93cm wide, 86cm high, 47cm deep
The wood on the top and three sides of the table is certainly 18th century and may be earlier. One leg and one side has been replaced with later wood and the carved panels are later. The table was probably originally lacquered and it has been scraped and stained black. The rosewood is high quality timber and is very heavy.
