Condition

There are some scrapes and holes to the back, the front of the screen is structurally sound.

Note

Suzuki Kiitsu (1796-1858) was a student of the famous Rinpa artist Sakai Hoitsu (1761-1828). He was primarily interested in the decorative rather than the poetic aspects of Rinpa. This is a later copy from the early 20th century, but the original is at the Honolulu Museum of Art.
